5 months old!

Life has been exciting with a five month old. Luke gets bored every 10 minutes, so it is up to my creative brain to entertain him. I'm already teaching him how to fold laundry. Just kidding, just keep him contained in the laundry basket.

We take lots of walks in the stroller

Which he loves. The only thing is it has gotten a lot hotter so we can't stay out as long.

He still loves his rainforest exersaucer and acts like he has never seen it before every time he plays in it. I wonder how long that will last.

He loves to scoot around like a worm on his tummy and his back and gets constantly more frustrated that he can't crawl yet

He is getting sturdy at sitting up like a big boy and is always proud of himself.

Well, in other news--Drew has had a busy month traveling and has had a trip every week. This week he gone until Thursday. We miss him when he is gone. He just finished a big research class that had a big project and has just started his final MBA class. Yeah!!!! 7 more weeks and he is finished and will join the relieved me who is still loving being done.

I leave soon for Jacksonville to see Amy, Tracey, Ella, and Reece (the newest addition). I am so excited. Then up to Greenville to see Ya Ya and Bapa, Aunt Say Say and Mikayla and Sean. Then to the beach in NC to see Drew's family. It will be a whirlwind trip and I hope Luke holds out. He will get to meet a lot of his family that have not met him yet. I am worried about the long plane ride, hopefully I can keep him occupied or lull him to sleep. Anyways, life is flying by it seems and I often pray to the Lord that He will help me soak in every drop of life that I can. He is teaching me to appreciate this peaceful season of my life and not pile on the so much as I have always done in the past.
