Halloween 2009

Lydia hated, I mean HATED her costume and I only got a couple pictures of her not screaming while she was in her carseat. I think she hates things on her head and once she is mad, she is MAD. It made for an interesting weekend. Luke wanted to be a football player and we could not find a helmet, so he just had his Hokie gear on with face paint. We celebrated Reformation day at church and all the saints that have paved the way for us to have many Bibles in our house and hands and the freedom from fear and superstitions (ONLY Christ)! The celebration is a great reminder of those Christians that were martyred for the faith and even for just translating Scripture into common language (William Tyndale) I am so thankful for the reminder! The party was not quite as big as last year, because with Lydia it has been hard to plan much, but it was still a lot of fun for the kids.

Happy girl since the costume is next to her (:

Calming her down after trying to put her costume on.
