Long time no hear!

Well, it has been a long time since I have posted, and I have good reason. We just moved on December 22nd. But of course before that we were packing and living out of boxes. Now we are unpacking and living out of boxes. But we are so excited and feel so blessed to have found this house. It was a foreclosure, but it just needs moderate cosmetic work with painting and holes in the wall. Drew already fixed the dishwasher and the garbage disposal. Now we need to work on the broken garage door opener. But these are all relatively small things. The big thing that will need to be done in the Spring is re-fencing the yard. The previous owners fought with the HOA b/c they fenced in such a small portion of the yard and did not go to the property line or fence in the big side yard. So we will be working on that, b/c of course we want to utilize the whole yard. We bought the house for the yard for Luke's sake so he could have a place to run off his energy. Pictures to follow soon of the house.

Lydia just entered her 6th month. She is going to be long and lean too. She is already 27 inches long and 16 pounds putting her in the 90th percentile for height and 50th for weight. She is full of smiles and laughs. She just started saying the sound da da. She is proud of herself too b/c she can't say it without laughing. She is an angel. We are so blessed to have her.

Luke will be celebrating his 2nd birthday on January 17th. We are going to have a firemen party b/c he is in love with fire trucks. We are having the party on the 16th. He is growing like a weed. His new favorite word is No. We are working on saying no thank you and no sir and mam which he has known for a long time but is just now not wanting to say it nicely. But he is also turning into the sweetest boy ever. He is always wrapping his arms around my neck with hugs and kisses. He is showering kisses on Lydia all the time now too. (which she loves). He is a sweet boy with a soft heart which I am so glad to see.

Christmas was wonderful. We got to celebrate in our new house, and I even got a tree up. Luke got a lot of cars and a big fire truck and dump truck which he plays with all day long.

Well, I have my pictures all scattered around (some on my camera, some on the video camera, some on Drew's phone) So i will post what I have for now and add more later.

Can't get enough of that face!
