Live, love, laugh!

Lately, I have been doing a lot of all three and I feel so blessed by our heavenly Father. I never knew how exhilarating and exhausting parenting would be. Luke is almost 8 months old~~ and I feel like the time has flown by but it has been so amazing so far. Luke is all over the place~~already pulling up and cruising around. I think he will be walking in a month. It is like as soon as he started crawling he couldn't stop and wait to doing anything else. He has always wanted to be on the move and now he certainly is. It is fun but there have already been a lot of falls and bumps.
We made it to a beautiful park this week. We also had a fun week playing together. Here are some pictures.

Mommy and Luke at Wash Park

Chillin' in the grass. He loved it and wouldn't stop trying to eat it among other things!

Fun in the sun!

First swing ride!

My little Denver Nugget!

It was cold last week and Luke had to wear his winter hat!

Every day with Luke!

Playing football~~he loves to hit it away from himself and then chase after it over and over. Don't you love the mismatched outfit. It was laundry day.

Playing football with daddy!

Climbing all over daddy. He does this with me now too. I think he thinks we are trees or else he loves my extra cushioning that makes climbing and falling easier.

Diaper changes are now nearly impossible. Here is the escapee~~before the diaper made it on. He is quick and I was hoping he wouldn't pee on my carpet. Gotta love it.

Devil's Head Hike

On Labor Day we made our first hike with Luke. He absolutely loved it and was kicking and flailing his arms the entire time. I think he might be a nature boy. We also ran into our friends Cara, Hannah, and Laura at the hike~~small world. It was a beautiful hike and amazing weather. I can't wait to do it again. Here are some pictures.

This first pack we tried, Luke hated~~I guess he was too confined.

He loved the Bjourn; however, even though he is 3 pounds away from outgrowing it.

Beautiful trees.

The family!

Experiencing Nature!

The stairs up to the very top where the fire lookout station is located.

Drew and Luke with the fire ranger in the back. He has worked there a very long time and reports any fires he sees.

We made it!
