It's a Girl!

I have been out with the flu along with the rest of the family, but Friday we went for an ultrasound. We were delighted to find out number 2 is a girl! She is completely healthy, praise the Lord, and we are excited to meet her at the end of June. She is definitely smaller than Luke was at 5 months (right around 50th percentile). That doesn't mean much just a comparison to the rather large Luke. Here are two pictures.

My dad gave me a bunch of pictures on his visit. I was amazed at how much Luke looks like me in so many of them. I did look a lot like a boy for a while. But we also make the same expressions. I have a lot of pictures of Luke making this same face. I have some more that I will post later of Drew. Luke exactly imitates many of the faces Drew makes. It is so cute.

Bf Tf Gf, A Visit from Anna Marie!

One of my best friends from college (Anna Marie) was in the Springs for a conference for her crisis pregnancy center. The conference was at Focus on the Family which is not far from us. She had some free time and got to come spend the evening with us. I was so excited to have her meet Luke! She lived in Germany for a long while but is now in AZ. Here are some pictures. She has always been the queen at remembering to take pictures. Luke also took to her right away unlike others. We reasoned that it must be the blonde hair like his mama's.

Luke loves climbing into things, so when he saw that daddy was leaving he decided he was going to go with him.

Luke is always fascinated when Drew works out, so Drew decided to get him started young.

Luke absolutely loves this leap frog table. He fell in love with it at my friend Anna's house, so with Grandad's Christmas money for Luke we got him this table. It is so neat. If you are looking for an entertaining toy with learning too, this is a great one.
