Luke weighed 8 pounds 5 1/2 ounces today at the doctor, which is great. He is healthy, but the only problem is he can't poop. Everybody that warned me that all I would talk and think about with a new baby is poop and pee, was right. That is all I am thinking about since Luke hasn't pooped in 50 something hours. The doctor says that is normal since I am having to use formula, but he is not sleeping like he usually does, and he keeps making grimacing grunting noises. I know the little man is in pain. Well, enough about that. I am feeling a lot better, and dreading my mom leaving. She has been a great help and I know I will miss her terribly. Drew has been awesome, helping me to get lots of rest. I don't know how he does it with class and work. I think he will take paternity leave next week after my mom is gone. Well enough for now, I am going to take a nap.

He's a healthy little guy, Mama. I know you will miss your Mom and there is no replacing her, but we will all pitch in and help out however we can. Don't worry. You are going to do just fine and Luke is blessed to have you as parents!

I'm so glad Luke's first doc appt went well! I'll be praying for poop :)
