Well, this weekend was eventful. Luke got a clogged tear duct, but at the time we did not know what was happening. So we called the on-call Dr. and she said to bring him in to urgent care. We did that on Saturday, and got information on what to do. So we have been doing hot compresses and massaging his eye. Our regular pediatrician wanted to see him again today just to make sure, and it looks like his eye is already doing better. Not much green and yellow gunk today. Yeah!! I also had a scare on Friday, the same day as my doctor's appointment. I had to call the on-call doctor, and get some information to put my mind at ease about the symptoms I was having. The doctor said he thought things were o.k. Praise the Lord. We also took Luke to church for the very first time on Sunday. He was out cold during church because it was his nap time. But everyone got to look at his face at least. It was so refreshing to see everyone, and thank everyone for all the help they had provided. We definitely have a second family here which is wonderful since our beloved family is so far away. We couldn't ask for any more blessings with friends. Well, I posted some pictures of Luke when he was wide awake. He tried out his happy hippo gym for the first time (compliments of Emily), and he seemed to notice his reflection in the mirror for a possible second or two. How fun. It seems he wants to smile a bit too. He is figuring out how that works still. Well, we love everyone and will post again soon.
