God is so good!!!

Congratulations Geoff and Grace! Grace just had her first baby boy on Monday. Logan Finley is adorable and healthy. I am posting the one picture I have even though he was snoozing the whole time. Anyways, Grace is recovering and of course exhausted. God is so good. My sister met Grace online coincidentally and they have been praying for each other through the journey to Reece(my niece) and Logan. It has reminded me so much of God's faithfulness and goodness to us. He is so good even through difficult struggles--always able to hold us up with His strength. We are so excited to share in the lives of this family through the years.

Logan Finley 7 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches long!

Well, Friday was Luke's 6 month check up. I thought at first he could sense we were at the doctor, but then he brightened back up. See below



He was so big the doctor handed him back to me exclaiming he was too heavy to hold. He was 30 inches long (off the charts) and 21 pounds 1 ounce (90th percentile) and his head of course is still huge. The doctor said I wasn't even feeding him enough for his size. I was a little surprised at that-- I think Luke is doing just fine with calories. But will do my best to give him more. He eats 30 oz. a day mostly so I have been trying to up that by 2. He fights every feeding and acts like I am torturing him while making him eat. I know weird anyway. He got his shots and was cranky the rest of the day but soon was back to his usual bubbly happy self.

We also got a visit from our friends in Austin Texas where we used to live. They were up here camping. It was good to see them. Luke liked Catherine.


Drew has been gone for a few days and is back tonight. I worked on two home decor projects while he was away. I will have to post pics. Well that is all for now. One last pic of my cute little boy who is growing up way too fast and who fills my life with endless joy. Thank you Lord for Your blessings.
