The best birthday present ever!
Drew asked me what I wanted for my birthday and immediately I said "sheets". For almost 6 years we have operated with one set of sheets. I know, crazy, but we have never had it in the budget or when we have- we forgot. So with washing sheets once a week, and having to get them done before bed to put them back on. It has been a chore. Yes mom, I wash my sheets once a week! So for my birthday, Khols was having a huge sale and I got a 20 percent coupon. So I got 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets for under 50 dollars. I thought that was a good deal for a king set. I picked burgandy to go with our burgandy and gold room and bedspread. Drew woke up this morning and said "is it crazy that I slept better than ever, and I think it was the sheets. They are the softest I have ever had". Wait til he feels higher thread count. Maybe next year or at our rate our 10 year anniversary.

We also recently splurged on a set of 600 count sheets at Kohls and we love them so much that I haven't switched to our old sheets once! On sheet washing day, I have to put the good ones back on after they're washed, we love them that much! Thread count makes a difference for sure!
